BLOOD TRANSFUSION...WHAT IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT?

So i met a patient one time who had a baby and lost a lot of blood. Prior to her surgery she signed that she didn't want any form of blood transfusion because of her religion. she was a witness and it was against her religion. And then the doctors managed and did everything the could and kept her as healthy as possible to keep her PCV normal and all that but then she had some complications and then she needed  to be transfused.
   Her husband refused,her pastor refused,they said it was seriously against their religion and they were going to pray and God was going to revive her. She was dying and the doctors were running out of options because they had used all forms of blood ex panders and all that.

 When she became conscious she was visited by the doctors to make a decision. she refused. she said if God wants to take her life this way then so be it. The doctors and nurses told her to think about her baby and her other kids,she still refused.
  After a few days she was looking so pale and couldn't even efficiently breastfeed her child her husband decided to go against religious beliefs but she refused. After a few days she died. It became a controversial discussion amongst patients,relatives and health workers. So many cultural and religious beliefs makes us take some decisions that might just endanger our lives... Be it that you found yourself in this woman's position today what would you have done?
