Insomnia is a type of sleeping disorder particularly a symptom which means inability to initiate or maintain sleep or both. Insomnia has i earlier said is a symptom and this could be attributed to different diagnosis.'
Depending on the type of insomnia you suffer there are different ways of tackling insomnia. In as much as i would like to give you different ways to tackle this disorder,i would want to know what type you suffer. now the types could include
- Transient insomnia; lasting for less than a week and occurring as a result of other disorders or environmental factors.
-Acute insomnia; lasting for a month and occurring even when conditions surrounding you promotes sleep,happens mostly as a result of daytime activities.
-Chronic insomnia; lasting for over a month,this can be stress related or as a result of underlining primary disease condition.
I can also ask how you would describe yours, do you;
sleep late and wake up early..or cant have a refreshing sleep at all,toss all through the night?
There are so many causes and comorbidities of insomnia, as i earlier said it is seen as a sign and symptom suggestive of another illness. let me know**wink**

ReplyDeleteYES BECAUSE THE AVERAGE HUMAN IS SUPPOSED TO GET AT LEAST 6 HOURS SLEEP EVERYDAY..AND ALSO HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN HAPPENING OR HAVE YOU ALWAYS SLEPT FOR JUST 3 HOURS?
